U.S. Tariffs - Important Customer Information

COLLECTION OF DUTIES & TARIFFS FOR UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT

As of 29th August 2025, the U.S. government placed tariffs on all items entering the United States (the $800.00 de minimis threshold was removed)
U.S. customers are now required to pay the tariffs by order of the U.S. government
Tariff % depends on country of origin

USPS does not have the capacity to collect the tariffs at this stage, so the U.S. government has imposed the responsibility on us as individual sellers to collect on their behalf

As a result of this, Australia Post has partnered with Zonos which is U.S. based 3rd party shipping service provider whom will be collecting and paying the tariffs to the U.S. government on our behalf.

Please read the following which includes important information in regards to tariff collection.

The changes you will notice:

The tariff for Australia is 10% which will be applied to most of our products, however, some of our items are manufactured in China and tariff on those products is up to 30% (tariff % is determined by the U.S. government)
When you reach checkout, you will see additional line items showing the duties/ tariff value for your order which will be added to the final total

Example:

Once you have placed your order, requirements have been met and you will not incur any further duties or taxes
Collecting tariffs via this manner instead of adding to our product prices is the best current option as it is the clearest and most clarified for declaration requirements and documentation, however, this is subject to change if we are notified of any updated information from relevant parties or platforms that we need to work with. We do not want you to face any further charges or customs struggles.
The tariffs collected through orders are paid by us to Australia Post / shipping provider, who then pay the U.S. government - please understand that we do not control, implement, profit from or retain any monies associated to the tariff requirement - they are U.S. government issued
We are unable to modify, alter or remove duties and tariffs as they apply to each product purchased and this is a U.S. government requirement which is out with our control

⭐️ Additionally, Zonos charges a handling fee + a % of the tariffs to carry out their service for us - this has been calculated at an average of AUD $4.00 per parcel (really depends on value of the order however we have estimated at the lower end) - and we have made the decision to absorb this cost as a supportive gesture to you.
